What Will Happen To Those Who Never Hear About Jesus?Psalm 19 says that every person possesses two books- general revelation and special revelation. General revelation is creation and the physical world around us. Special revelation is the Bible. A person must have special revelation (the knowledge of Jesus) to be saved. This is the reason missions is so important. Currently, 24% of our church budget is designated toward missions. It is imperative that people learn about Jesus. The Bible does teach that if a person responds properly to the revelation they have been given, they will receive more revelation. If someone in the deepest, darkest jungle responds to general revelation God will send someone with the gospel to them. That is why a person grows up and says, “I want to be a missionary to New Guinea or Africa.” Someone has responded properly to the light they’ve been given and God is literally moving heaven and earth to save them. |
